Membership is open to anyone who has been referred by their General Practitioner for investigation for prostate cancer, those undergoing treatment and those who have had treatment.
Wives and partners are welcome to attend since those living with cancer patients form an essential part of the support process.
Uro-oncology staff from Broomfield hospital attend meetings to provide medical/technical assistance and answer those questions which General Practitioners cannot answer and which don't come up in clinical appointments.
At present there is no membership fee and free parking is available at Broomfield Hospital whilst attending meetings (ask David Learmonth for a parking permit).
